Fishing in Vefsna

 

The river Vefsna is one of the largest salmon rivers in Norway. Fishing in Vefsna has taken many forms up to today. In old days in the nineteenth century, several British anglers came with their families and taught the Norwegians how to perform angling. Large catches were made, and Vefsna has always been a popular and challenging river for angling.

 

Fitness centre

 

200 meters from the hotel there is a fitness centre, which offers aerobic, spinning, weight-training, sauna and more.

 

Touring ground

 

In Mosåsen touring ground, you will find several hiking trails in beautiful surroundings. From here, you have a panorama view over the city. Dolstadåsen is another great alternative. Please, ask in the reception for a map over the local area. We also have a hiking program called "Fjelltrimmen" with 13 different hiking experiences varying from easy to extreme.

 

Golf

 

Helgeland Golf Park and Recreation Area is located 15 km north for Mosjøen in Hellfjell. The golf park has a challenging 9-holes golf course in a great countryside. It is approximately 4300 meters from the tee and has pair 72, a driving range and a club cabin. No tee-off booking! Three kilometres away is an attractive activities area by the lake Fustvatnet in Baågneset. There you will find a beach, areas for ball games and angling possibilities.
